The action today was centered in or on the lake. Nature has made a quick return to the waters as you can see from the photo of our newt (at least I think that's what it is) just look how clear the water is. Then our mariners enjoyed their afternoon sailing to their hearts content - why not join them next week.

Finally we have had a few good days and the club members have been out in force to fly their models - have a look at the pics and see if you recognise any of their aircraft. If the fine weather continues we will have more to share.

Our boating and seaplane communities have been at a loss of the lake due to the combination of terrible wet weather since January and the non availability of our external contractor - but all this has changed over the last few days as the Hon Sec and his team have overseen the restoration of the lake for all our enjoyment. They are to be commended for their hard and diligent work since January. The lake can be seen emptied / scrapped / filled and then enjoyed by the members. Well done again to the Hon Sec and his team.
