January 2017
Well the new season is upon us but the weather is still pretty miserable at this time of the year. Some of us have been busy over the winter months crafting our latest project and the first one out of the blocks is this beautiful Graupner Starlet at 2.4 M span. Here we see the model undergoing a C of G test , which was carried out in the warmth of the Clubhouse and the model was nearly perfect only requiring 200 gm of nose weight. She looks great and should take to the sky shortly. See the proud owner looking on. Check back later for the flying shots
Fine Weather brings out the Flyers
At last we have had a good day and a few of us made the most of it and got some good flying in today - here are a few photos from today and a little earlier in the month .
There were a couple of new Wot 4 XL's which took to the air - one with a very strange but strikingly visible color scheme - even more Wot 4's are reportedly due on the field soon. What is the term for a collection of Wot's ???? All suggestions gratefully received.
